The salon

Meet Tracey

Tracey Maw began her career in 1996, then spent years working internationally as a spa body specialist aboard cruise liners — travelling the Caribbean, Australia and Malta. In 2003 she opened The Beauty House on St John's Road: a warm home salon her clients call “a hidden gem”.

She also spent nearly a decade teaching in further education, and holds a Level 5 Certificate in Education and Training alongside Level 2 & 3 Beauty Therapy and Assessor awards. Teaching remains her second love: the salon is also a Guild-accredited training centre.

A Guild-accredited centre offering one-day practical courses in Scarborough — online theory first, then hands-on training with everything provided. Prices below are the practical fee; add a £25 enrolment / theory fee per course.
